Friendly staff, friendly "seasonal" campers. Beautiful, sandy beach, Fort Gaines, Alabama Aquarium and Ferry all within walking distance. Clean bathrooms, showers, coin-op laundry. Playground. Dog-friendly.

Prefect weather for the fall. (A tad cold for some) My daughter was able to find a shark tooth, and a couple jelly fish washed up on shore. The birds were diving in the gulf like crazy. Overall, it was amazing.

Nice quiet no frills campground with good shade. Campsites are just dirt/sand but level and just fine for our 43' motorhome.

Mixed feeling about this place. Camping was decent, restrooms were modern and clean. I have a camper but tent camp pulling a small cargo trailer when I travel long distance out of state. No trailers are allowed in the tent spots. If you have a camper, you can keep a boat in your spot along with your camper. Their rules, but doesn't make sense to me. The weekend we were there was the fishing rodeo. Plenty of loud drunks running around on golf carts all night long. Would I come back?? Probably, but not during the fishing rodeo.
